Engage with colleagues, community members, and parents who are committed to learning more about neurological disorders and about supporting students with brain injuries in the classroom and the community.
This 40-hour, week-long series is dedicated to enhancing the knowledge and skills of those working with and living with youth with brain injuries and other impairments. Content will cover discipline-specific assessments, executive functions, various types of memory and challenges with memory, cognitive components underpinning academic skill success, social skills and healthy relationship training, and three additional workshops on spinal cord injury and issues related to paralysis.
Registration fees include all training materials, textbooks, activities, a Resource Fair, all AM/PM breaks along with a catered BBQ dinner Wednesday evening and luncheon on Friday.
